{"id":173,"date":"2023-08-02T10:09:26","date_gmt":"2023-08-02T13:09:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kopf.eng.br\/blog\/?p=173"},"modified":"2023-08-02T10:09:30","modified_gmt":"2023-08-02T13:09:30","slug":"o-que-e-napl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kopf.eng.br\/blog\/o-que-e-napl\/","title":{"rendered":"O que \u00e9 NAPL?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Em estudos ambientais direcionados \u00e0 investiga\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1reas com potencial de contamina\u00e7\u00e3o o termo <strong>NAPL <\/strong>\u00e9 muito falado e discutido, sobretudo quando s\u00e3o envolvidas \u00e1reas que se utilizavam de compostos derivados de petr\u00f3leo e solventes industriais seja no passado ou atualmente.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Confira neste conte\u00fado a defini\u00e7\u00e3o, o comportamento e aspectos relativos a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o de NAPL:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Defini\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>NAPL (<em>Nonaqueous Phase Liquids<\/em>) \u00e9 o termo utilizado no \u00e2mbito de estudos ambientais para subst\u00e2ncias qu\u00edmicas que n\u00e3o se dissolvem ou se misturam facilmente com a \u00e1gua (imisc\u00edveis).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Usualmente s\u00e3o divididas em duas categorias com base em sua densidade:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kopf.eng.br\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/NAPL_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-174\" width=\"458\" height=\"456\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comportamento<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Quando h\u00e1 o aporte de NAPL na subsuperf\u00edcie ele pode ficar im\u00f3vel nos poros do solo (<strong>fase residual<\/strong>) ou apresentar mobilidade (<strong>fase livre<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kopf.eng.br\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Fases_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-176\" width=\"672\" height=\"393\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para entendimento destes fen\u00f4menos no solo em escala microsc\u00f3pica temos a seguinte disposi\u00e7\u00e3o:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kopf.eng.br\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/5-1024x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-177\" width=\"487\" height=\"487\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A ocorr\u00eancia do NAPL \u00e9 caracterizada como fonte secund\u00e1ria, e tem potencial de<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/cetesb.sp.gov.br\/areas-contaminadas\/conceitos-sobre-transporte-de-substancias-nas-zonas-nao-saturada-e-saturada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">particionar<\/a> <\/strong>para tr\u00eas fases distintas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Fase Adsorvida \u2013 O produto se associa ao solo devido aos processos de sor\u00e7\u00e3o e adsor\u00e7\u00e3o; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fase Dissolvida &#8211; O produto se associa a \u00e1gua por meio de dissolu\u00e7\u00e3o; e<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fase Gasosa\/Vapor &#8211; O produto por apresentar alta taxa de volatiliza\u00e7\u00e3o se insere nos poros do solo;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kopf.eng.br\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Fase_residual.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-193\" width=\"511\" height=\"292\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O entendimento da ocorr\u00eancia destas fases \u00e9 primordial para diferencia\u00e7\u00e3o de fontes prim\u00e1rias e secund\u00e1rias, e ademais as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es devem contemplar um estudo bem detalhado de todas estas fases que podem ocorrer (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/superfund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EPA<\/a><\/strong>, 1995).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kopf.eng.br\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Fases_subsolo_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-180\" width=\"479\" height=\"478\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Aspectos sobre investiga\u00e7\u00e3o<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No \u00e2mbito do gerenciamento de \u00e1reas contaminadas estes compostos s\u00e3o largamente investigados e segundo <a href=\"https:\/\/cetesb.sp.gov.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CETESB<\/a> (2020) representam no estado de S\u00e3o Paulo mais de 80% das subst\u00e2ncias geradoras de \u00e1reas contaminadas cadastradas.
